Our south-facing terrace, on a warm, sunny day is simply one of the best spots in the West Country for sipping a glass of something delicious, meeting friends for coffee or enjoying a leisurely meal. Scented with roses, jasmine and honeysuckle in summer and a host of potted herbs, our terrace has views over ancient rooftops, steep gardens beneath it, and an unspoiled vista of Bruton’s mysterious and iconic 16th-century Dovecote which stands in solitude on a distant hill.
