Global fragmentation – An evening with Tim Spicer

22nd November 2018

Our world seems in a fragile state – facing the challenges of global terrorism, cyber warfare and chemical attacks against a backdrop of increasing national isolationism and right wing extremism. What will be the outcome of the tensions in Turkey, Syria and the Middle East? What does the future hold for the relationships between Britain and Europe, America, Russia, China, Iran and the rest of the world?

Lieutenant Colonel Tim Spicer OBE  draws on his experience as the founder of Aegis Defence Services, a British private military and security company with offices in the UK, USA, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia and Mozambique, as well as his 20 year military career in the British Army.

“effectively… in command of the second-largest foreign armed force in Iraq—behind America’s but ahead of Britain’s.” Robert Baer, Vanity Fair
