At the Chapel, in the Somerset town of Bruton, in the south-west of England, has been created in a Grade II Listed, 17th-century former chapel.

Our all-day restaurant and bar is open every day, to serve breakfast, coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, cocktails, wines and dinner within a soaring, convivial space.

The kitchen uses only the best West Country produce and brings a relaxed Mediterranean approach to British food. Fresh pizzas from the authentic stone-built wood-fired pizza oven are served in the restaurant and also available to take out.

In summer, you can sit outside on the jasmine-scented, sun-drenched terrace.

We have eight contemporary and luxurious bedrooms above the restaurant. No two rooms are exactly the same but each offers a tranquil space to retreat into during your stay in Bruton.

Our bakery is at the heart of the local community. In the mornings, the smell of freshly baked bread wafts down Bruton’s High Street.

The Winestore  has carefully selected, small estate wines from our Restaurant winelist, so you can take a taste of At the Chapel back home. These real wines, made by hand with minimal intervention in the vineyard and winery, show maximum respect for nature and the environment and are expressive of where they come from.
