THE AMAZING TEENAGE BRAIN An evening with Dr Trevor Richards SOLD OUT

5th October 2017

An evening with Dr Trevor Richards

Expletives, volatile behaviour, the temporary disappearance of your loving, reasonable child – what are the brain changes that trigger teenage outbursts? Dr Trevor Richards is an educational psychologist, based in Frome, who works with high performers, children grappling with relationships, anxiety or low self-esteem, as well as those who struggle academically. He uncovers the mysteries of adolescent brain development, dispelling the commonly held myths about teenagers and providing practical suggestions for negotiating the often baf ing world of adolescent psychology.

As wells as working as a head teacher, Dr Richards also carries out a wide range of private client work and training within local companies. He consults for Harlequins Rugby on a resilience programme for inner city school children and he has contributed a Doctoral programme at Bristol University.

‘Dr Trevor Richard’s talk on the teenage brain was fascinating! Full of both science and anecdote, it gave a real insight into what teenagers are experiencing at this sometimes tricky time and how parents can both understand and support what is going on. Very brilliant!’ Georgie Cutbill
