Rachel Kelly brings us her hard-won insights into how to sustain well-being. Since suffering her last serious bout of depression in 2004, the former Times journalist has evolved a holistic approach to staying well which includes abandoning perfectionism and enjoying the comfort of poetry.
Rachel’s book about her recovery Walking on Sunshine: 52 Small Steps to Happiness is an internationally acclaimed best seller. Her new book, The Happy Kitchen: Good Mood Food, explores the role of food in developing a healthy mind. Rachel has worked with nutritional therapist Alice Mackintosh to look at how what we eat can target particular symptoms, from insomnia and mood swings to stress and exhaustion.
